Bartly wears his Great Grandad's medals to the dawn service every year!

He took our class wreath to the Anzac service for us.

Jesse's Great Grandad was in the English Army. These are some of his medals and uniform buttons.
He was also awarded an OBE from the Queen.

Book Week!!

Today we dressed up as our favourite book character! Wow what wonderful costumes room 15! We had some spidermen, a Robin Hood, a policeman, Captain America and a supergirl just to name a few. Here are some pictures of our day!

Yahoo! Zac and Lexi have been very clever! They can show me two different ways of paying money for a toy. What clever maths thinkers.

Money, money, money!!

We have been doing lots of shopping in room 15. Last week we were shopping at the supermarket. This week we have been toy shopping! Mrs Potts gave us a toy to buy and we had to use the money to show two different ways of paying for the toy. We had to think of what coins or notes we have in New Zealand. We used $1 or $2 coins or $5 or $10 notes. We also had to add the numbers together and check whether we had used to much money or not enough money. Wow we had to use our super maths powers!!!!!!!!
