Bubbles bubbles everywhere!!!

Today we met our writing support team and had fun getting to know each other by making bubbles!!
We read the big book "Bubbles" and sung this song too!! Our bubble prints look fantastic!
B is for bubbles!! On Tuesday we had even MORE fun blowing bubbles and chasing them as they floated above us!

PRIDE and Kowhai Awards Term 1 Week 3

Well done to Gerome who received our PRIDE award this week. Gerome has been a real superhero in  room 15.  He is always showing Parkvale PRIDE.
Caitlyn and Bobbie got Kowhai awards as well! Caitlyn is very good at having a go on her own at writing time when hearing sounds in words.  Bobbie  is always a kind and thoughtful superhero in room 15.

Learning Phonics

Mrs Potts took these photos of us doing our phonics today! We love it! We do phonics everyday. We learn the letter names and sounds and practise writing the letters on our whiteboards. We were really good at the letter k today. Phonics will help us with our reading and writing.

Maths Time!!

We love maths time and the taskboard activities Mrs Potts has started showing us. Lots of games, puzzles, blocks and fun things to do!

Making ourselves look amazing!!

Superheroes!!!

We have been talking about superheroes.  We wrote a list of what a SUPERHERO would look like in room 15!!
We have been learning this Superhero song which we really LOVE!!

A VERY busy first week at school!!

We have had a very busy first week back and we have had lots of fun!! Mrs Potts loves painting and art activities so we have had lots of fun with that! We have created paintings of ourselves, photoframes and got to know each other so well!! We have been enjoying the school pool on these very hot February days!!
