Kowhai Hub Poster Competition!!

Our kowhai hub had a competition to design the best kowhai poster to go in all the classrooms in kowhai hub.  Miss Morris helped us to create our kowhai art.  We watched and listened carefully to Miss Morris when she told us all about the kowhai flower.  She showed us how to draw a kowhai and then we had a go ourselves by sketching first.  Our art looked amazing when it was finished.  Mrs Potts and Mrs Hill thought they looked brilliant!!! Mrs  Hill chose some finalists to go to Mr Gifkins for the competition!!! Guess what? Leilanah's piece of kowhai art was chosen by Mr Gifkins as the WINNER!!!! Great little artist Leilanah!! Look out for her art in all the kowhai hub rooms.
